Our new Global HR Director
We’re looking for an outstanding commercial Global HR Director. A strategic leader to drive change and help to shape Starbreeze' fast growing international organisation. The environment is fast paced, commercial and execution focused. You will actively partner with Starbreeze leaders, getting under the skin of the organisation to truly understand the strategy, the culture and share accountability for achieving Starbreeze' business goals, driving revenue and shareholder value. You will also take ownership of maintaining and developing the Starbreeze culture as well as employee engagement and retention.
The HR work of Starbreeze is conducted in each country. On the larger company sites there are local HR-resources.
You will be part of the Starbreeze Management team and report directly to the CEO.? In addition to your responsibilities listed below, you will drive local change projects and leadership development initiatives in the Swedish market together with the local HR resource.?
The Key Areas of responsibility are:
• Develop, maintain and implement a people strategy at Starbreeze
• Establish a strategic partnership with Executive team and Business Leaders at the Stockholm HQ and at company locations around the world
• Provide strategic HR insight in areas such as performance management compensation, competence- and career development, organizational development, policies and people satisfaction; execute to make it happen in reality
• Using best practice, knowledge and networking to continually drive improvements in business performance, organisational design and talent processes.
• Ensure that Starbreeze is a “special and engaging place to work”; embody values and foster a Starbreeze Culture
• Work closely with local HR-resources in each country to drive a group wide HR agenda and to resolve issues through innovative thinking; manage operational HR work in all areas without dedicated HR support
• Anticipate talent needs and capabilities across the whole employee lifecycle & influence global priorities
• Responsible for ensuring that Group compensation and benefit models are compliant with company policies and regulations
• Provide guidance and support in all Employee Relations issues and processes
• Direct the annual review of all employee compensation and benefits. Keep abreast of current employment market,market; provide salary benchmarking data and benefits overview.
• Lead and administrate existing and future stock option plans
• Manage employee secondments and relocations including visa procurement
• Develop and execute talent acquisition plans including recruiting and staffing strategies
• Design, develop and implement training and development staff programs
• Conduct HR projects across a growing number of geographical locations
• Build and develop Starbreeze' strategy for employer branding
Requirements and suitable background
• Educated to a University degree in HR and with several years of relevant working experience
• Demonstrated experience of international strategic and operational HR partnership at a senior international business unit level
• Experienced team leader and role model with capacity to manage remote teams
• Knowledge of the digital industry and/or the gaming industry is considered as an advantage
• Ideally worked both in and out of Sweden in a Senior HR role
• Fluent in business English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of Swedish legislation highly desirable to essential
• Must be willing to travel.
