The SAP Centre of Excellence (SAP CoE) in Enterprise Application Services (EAS) is a function within Volvo Car Group IT. SAP CoE has global responsibility within Volvo Car Group to develop and implement, maintain and support all SAP based solutions within Volvo Cars. The current SAP setup is supporting over 30 countries globally. It contains process support in purchasing, manufacturing, HR, Finance and product development, with a growing user community of about 15.000 users. SAP is a strategic platform for Volvo Car Group and is constantly expanding in more locations and solutions.

As Global IT Manager, SAP Application Management you are managing a team of Senior Application Managers and Business Analysts. You are also responsible for the relations with our support and maintenance suppliers, both locally and offshore. Your team is the link between the business processes and the SAP solutions for Support and Maintenance activities. When coaching your team it is important with good knowledge of business processes and general SAP application possibilities. In your position you must understand business demands and requirements and be able to visualize and connect them to the IT delivery capability in a global SAP enterprise implementation.

Main responsibilities

* Manage your Application Maintenance team, responsible for maintenance of existing and new solutions within the SAP CoE
* Manage the SAP maintenance budget, including staff, outsourcing contracts, operating environment and licenses
* Participate in or drive steering committees in key SAP initiatives and projects
* Manage lifecycle and strategic initiatives within the SAP area
* Be a key driver in developing our SAP landscape to support the development and improvement of Volvo Cars business

Required qualifications

* University degree within IT, Business Administration, Engineering or similar
* Experience from working within IT
* Extensive SAP experience
* 5-10 years of managerial experience
* Fluent in English and Swedish. Chinese is meritorious
* It is meritorious to have been working with large SAP installations in global companies
* Worded with other ERP systems
* Work experience from manufacturing industries is meritorious
* Preferably experience from living and working abroad, especially in Asia

* Ability to keep calm and prioritise when storms arise
* Great level of energy with ability to mentor colleagues
* Thorough, with a great record of securing flawless deliveries
