Global Mobility Specialist till Valmet AB

Arbetsbeskrivning

Is global mobility close to your heart and a can-do attitude your personal trademark? We are looking for you as a global mobility expert to join Valmet´s Global Mobility team in Sweden.

About the position
As part of Valmet´s Global mobility team, you will support our global capital businesses with cross-border projects and assignments for internal and external site resources. You will be responsible for instructing our global project business with e.g. immigration, international income taxation and social security issues connected to cross-border assignments.

In this role you ensure that assignments are completed in compliance with rules and regulations and that projects are instructed according to home and host country legislation. Your tasks will include working with Valmet´s local HR teams, the taxation team and our finance professionals. This exciting role also offers you an opportunity of developing global mobility processes and practices in Sweden.

You will report to the head of our Global Mobility function and work closely together with our HR Business Partners and the global HR functions as well as stakeholders in other teams. You can be located in one of Valmet’s in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Karlstad or Sundsvall.

Your profile
You have good understanding of immigration regulations, social security requirements and international individual income tax and you know how to instruct and support project management and assignees in this field. At Valmet global projects are our bread and butter which means that you will have a unique opportunity to work in the core of Valmet´s business.

To succeed in this role, you
• have a good understanding of Global Mobility related processes, preferably regarding short term/project assignments and international individual income taxation
• are interested in subcontractor mobility management or even better, have experience in the field
• know how to engage your stakeholders and get results in a virtual, matrixed environment
• have a customer oriented and proactive mindset combined with analytical thinking
• are able to work with details and tight schedules
• communicate and present in a precise and inspiring manner in English and in Swedish.
• have the needed basics in place: a university degree in personnel administration or equivalent paired with commitment and a can-do attitude.

We offer you a global working environment where HR plays an instrumental role in supporting the business, and a true opportunity to influence how things are done. Valmet HR is known for its forward looking and development-oriented mindset, a somewhat crazy sense of humor and fantastic teamwork.

If you are a highly-motivated global mobility expert and have a track record of gaining results by working seamlessly together with your team, please apply immediately. Applications will be handled upon receipt and potential candidates contacted already during the application period.
