As Product Manager you are the responsible for defining the product roadmap, establishing the product requirements, ensuring that the product plans are duly executed and that the product results in sustainable commercial success for itself and for VCE machines. You achieve results both through your own initiatives and through influencing the wider VCE organization.

Job Content:
-Responsible for defining the product roadmap and product requirements (specifications, life cycle?) in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders and entities across VCE organization.
-Ensure together with the Technology unit and other internal and external suppliers that the product is planned and developed according to the set objectives.
-Represent product ownership in development projects, preparing business opportunity descriptions, secure that all necessary product requirements are included
-Closely collaborate with our Productivity Services team on all commercial aspects of the product.
-Secure that change(s) are listed, evaluated, negotiated and prioritized together with the relevant stakeholders across VCE organization.
-Responsible to track and identify product defects and issues with support staff, take action(s) to solve issues and keep an efficient communication with the relevant entities across VCE organization.
-Responsible to provide content to the Global Marketing team to develop materials (like marketing material, training material,?) supporting service success.
-Collaborate with Global Competence Development team for product training activities towards the regions and dealers/customers when relevant.
-Follow up with suppliers, evaluate options and propose changes when needed
-Monitor technology used by others in the field and formulate proposals how VCE could act.

Excellent understanding of the product management process, structured way of working
-Analytical, good communicator, self-confident, customer oriented, persistent.
-Self-starter, takes initiative.
-Excellent networking and negotiation skills, ability to chair meetings with stakeholders from different parts of the organisation
-A genuine and strong ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams across the organization
-Courage to take decisions, and to communicate objectives with different stakeholders
-Have ability to deliver against set targets and a ?can do? attitude
-Ability to establish and develop relations with other units within VCE and partners and customers
-Good understanding of customer/dealer needs at the machine, site and business level and in translating them to enabled machine and site management solutions.

Required knowledge & experience:
Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
-Higher Degree in Engineering or Marketing fields
-Product management or development experience within the IT or telematics area. Project management experience is an advantage.

Additional Important Requirements:
-Experience to work in geographically diverse cross-functional teams.
-Fluent English (spoken/written) required
-Occasional travel required
