Job Description
As Global Manager within R&D you are part of one Global Management team who acts with other people in mind, prioritizing safety and well being. Ensuring that we maintain an inclusive workplace and striving to continuously diversify our teams in terms of gender, age, culture, experience and perspectives. This is considered within Underground R&D to be a fundamental requirement for building world-class teams and being able to deliver innovative solutions and products for people and planet.
In the role you are expected to act as the enabler for customer demands and secure we are technology leader of all portfolios within mandate. You are also responsible for a safe, diverse and qualitative mindset in all R&D activities and that they are performed in the most efficient way of working, optimizing time to revenue. 
You drive to secure that we have the correct products and solutions on the market at the right time and that our products are technically best in class with increased value for the customers! You also ensure that every product can be produced at an optimized and highly competitive cost, industry leading lead times, and in line with our global footprint strategy – all to accelerate our customer’s success! 
You have the responsibility to:

Innovation, development and responsibility for products and technical solutions that meet customer needs and legal requirements in the most efficient manner. 
Personality requirements

You have a positive outlook for the future with creative problem solving capabilities, ability to think beyond how things have been done to how they can be optimized for efficiency/benefit. Ability to see the big picture (strategic thinking).  You are able to manage multiple projects without sacrificing schedule or quality. We have English as our company language.

Location and travel
