We are now looking for a Global Sales Engineer, to join our Solution Management organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Global Sales Engineers team is the hub of the global sales engineer’s network at Axis.

As part of the Solution Management organization, you will establish and leverage on a strong network within HQ departments; with focus in R&D, Product Management, and Partner Management; in order to empower our regional sales teams in system and application matters.
The GSE team focuses on solving specific sales project needs based on Axis and partners components offering the end customer functional enterprise systems.

In this role you will:

Provide agile support as first escalation point in Lund for our sales engineers using our case handling tool. Guarantee a quick response for the Sales Engineers network with the prioritization and follow through of cases. Act as a troubleshooter and coordinator and solve but also escalate technical problems to the right people. Be a part of a group within the GSE team that builds and documents our findings and drives and structures the sales engineers’ network globally. Participate and deliver regional and global trainings as an application expert. Be a key interface between our sales engineers in the region and our organization in Lund HQ.
You will be stationed in Lund and the position requires approximately 30 days of travelling a year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We see you as being a structured, organized and creative individual with a strong technical interest.

Driven by the will to service your colleagues by documenting and sharing information. You have experience of taking your own decisions, are business oriented with a good understanding of the project sales cycle. You have excellent communication and networking skills and a good understanding of project sales. You are also fluent in written and oral English. Fluency in other languages is considered a plus.

We also believe that you have:

Relevant (Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree or similar. More than 3 years’ experience within system engineering and at least some years with customer relations. Several years of technical experience, preferably from the IT industry. Documented work with system solutions close to end customers. Experience from the project sales lifecycle. A broad cross-cultural experience is highly appreciated.
THE SOLUTION MANAGEMENT UNIT
Solution Management drives the development of Axis solutions. This includes Product management for Software and Service components as well as supporting technical and knowledge structures to bring Solutions to market. In our effort to increase the end-customer value through targeted solutions that solve their needs we cooperate closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, the sales regions and R&D.
