We are now looking for a Global Sales Engineer, focusing on the North America region, to join our System & Services organization.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Global Sales Engineers team is our center of the global sales engineer’s network and Axis knowledge base in system and application matters. Together with business development and marketing we will drive Axis towards an application and solution oriented market approach.

In this role you will:

* Assist in project sales in cooperation with your local Field Sales Engineering team in the different areas of the United States and Canada.
* Build and run the sales engineers network for your region, and together with your team globally.
* Drive technical knowledge build in your region and cooperate with your global team to create a knowledgebase structure.
* Take part in events and trainings in Sweden and your region as an application expert.  
* Act as a trouble-shooter and coordinator to solve complex technical problems in major deals and sales projects.
* Investigate and document new technologies for the market based on R&D knowledge and investigations.

You will be placed in Lund but the position requires approximately 50 days of travelling a year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a person with a technical interest and a natural system solution way of thinking. You are business oriented, have excellent communication and networking skills and a good understanding of project sales.

We also believe that you have:

* Relevant(Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree or similar.
* Experience within system engineering and customer relations.
* Technical experience, preferably from the IT or security industry. Knowledge in Computer Networks is greatly appreciated.
* Documented work with system solutions close to end customers.
* Experience from the project sales lifecycle.
* Fluency in written and oral English.
* Proficiency in other language(s) is considered a plus. 
* A broad cross-cultural experience is highly appreciated.

THE SYSTEM & SERVICES UNIT
System & Services is globally responsible for the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for system functions and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters.
