Sandvik is a global industrial group with advanced products and world-leading positions in selected areas - tools for metal cutting, equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials as well as process systems.

Sandvik has presented a new Human Resources delivery model and organizational structure. Part of it is the Global Compensation & Benefits Team, which will lead the way forward in Sandvik's ambition to build a level playing field for strong rewards, enabling us to attract and retain the talent needed to achieve our business objectives. We are now looking for Group Compensation & Benefits Experts, to be located in Sandviken.

Key performance areas
As a C&B Expert you will actively participate in the development, maintenance, and administration of Sandvik's compensation & benefits programs at a senior professional level. Focus is placed on a combination of strategic and business essential activities in support of Corporate and Business Area needs and service to a region that consists of multiple countries. In your work you ensure the achievement and maintenance of the company's compensation objectives in line with overall human resources strategy.

You collect and interpret salary market data, run and administer job evaluation programs and recommend compensation-related changes to the businesses. Your recommendations balance fairness and equity with cost effectiveness for Sandvik. You handle solid and market-competitive compensation and benefit programs, and contribute to compensation projects in the areas of job evaluation, salary structure and variable pay design, benefits enrollment and harmonization within the countries you service. Further, you provide training workshops for line managers and information for the workforce, as well as ongoing pay solutions to the business on a daily basis.

You report to the Global Head of C&B.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in HR, Finance, Legal or Business Admin, wide experience with the subject matter and eight to ten years of experience working in an HR department, of which at least five are in C&B. You have good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, and have advanced skills in MS PowerPoint and in MS Excel.

As a person you are a communicative problem solver, who is both analytical and organized. You have the ability to influence others and you are service minded, with a high tolerance for ambiguity. You also employ equity in recommendations and solutions. Further, you are a subject matter expert in C&B and show the ability to professionally advise the business, providing solid and effective solutions to pay-related matters. You have high standards, take ownership and show high integrity in dealing with confidential information.
