Veoneer camera systems are developed in Linköping with help from highly integrated satellite offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Zagreb and Timisoara. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software, algorithms and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you´ll do?

We are now looking for a group manager for Vision development in our Stockholm office. The Stockholm office is a growing team that works closely with the main Vision development site in Linköping. In your role you will recruit and build on the existing team of 4 persons to a size of 10-15 persons. We see you as part time operational in the vision development during the team growth period, enabling you to understand the technology and our products in depth.

As a group manager you are responsible for the development of both technology and personnel in the field. You are expected to ensure the quality of your employees' working methods and performance and develop their competences. The duties also include budget and work environment responsibility. You will be part of the feature development department situated in Linköping and you will contribute to the work of the department's management team and the development of its function. You are responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's development processes and company standards in the field and training in this area.

We also see that you contribute as a feature developer in the development team within a competence that suits your profile. Typical main areas in our cross-functional teams are machine learning, computer vision, target tracking, embedded software and testing.

What you´ll bring?

In order to succeed in the role, we prefer that you have
• Master of Science degree or equivalent
• Long-term experience in algorithm and / or software development
• Experience in leading others as well as building and developing teams
• Good knowledge in English

The position also requires good leadership skills, that you are clear in your communication, have an analytical ability as well as the ability to make decisions. You are responsive and outgoing and maintain good relationships with people in your area. Experiences from the automotive industry and work with safety-critical systems we see as a merit.
