The section Audio and Displays, at the Electrics/Electronics & Chassis unit is responsible for all work regarding Audio, Antennas and Displays. Within the section Antenna and Tuner group is responsible for the connectivity, telematics and entertainment antennas, analogue and digital tuners.

As Hardware responsible for the Antennas and Digital tuners you will be responsible for the hardware requirement specifications, tuning of electrical parameters and hardware deliveries to the projects, which is a result of close cooperation with Supplier, Attribute- and Function Owners and the Design department. You establish and develop relationships with representatives and stakeholders from many areas of the vehicle meaning you will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network within Volvo Cars.

Main responsibilities
.Define hardware requirement specifications for sourcing suppliers
.Work in close cooperation with suppliers to clarify specifications, work processes and system design
.Follow up hardware test result
.Status reporting and hardware delivery to the projects
.Validating performance on component/system level
.Responsible to evaluate supplier from hardware perspective

Required qualifications

.Master of Science in Electronics, Electrical, Wireless Communication or similar qualification /working experience
.Driver's license B (car)


Meritorious qualifications

.Knowledge of wireless communication systems
.Basic knowledge of digital and analogue broadcast technologies
.Basic knowledge of Antennas
.General competence in electronics design and development
.Experience from handling Requirement specification
.Experience from HW development
.Experience from working with suppliers
