Our mission
Diet Doctor was founded by Andreas Eenfeldt (M.D.) with the long-term goal of empowering people everywhere to dramatically improve their health. More than one billion people suffer from health issues related to type 2 diabetes and obesity, for which they're often personally blamed and rarely given the support they deserve. We aim to change that.

We’re fully funded by our members, so we don't need to show any ads, sell any products, or take any industry money. This also means that we have zero external investors, and are instead owned by the 40+ people who work here - and we offer all employees the possibility to acquire a stake in the company regularly.

What have we achieved so far?
- Profitability for years, self-funded, no VC investment, and lots of cash in the bank.
- The by far largest keto and low-carb site in the world.
- About 9 million monthly visits, 65k paying members and 40+ full-time co-workers.


What you'll do
This is a full-time position in Stockholm, Sweden, and you would be leading our 4-person community team. The community team is located throughout North America, and it's a key part of Diet Doctor's mission to make low carb simple. The team is responsible for customer support, helping users on their low-carb journey, and creating a warm and safe place where people feel cared for.

As the Head of Community, your main tasks would be:

- Lead, manage, and grow the community team by ensuring everyone has the support they need to do great work.
- Help and inspire members when they have questions or concerns.
- Communicate member needs to the team, and encourage users to engage with our content.
- Monitor social-media and website comments.
- Manage and build up more and more Diet Doctor Ambassadors.
- Plan and implement initiatives that helps us create a warm and safe place people feel cared for.

Who you are
- Have lead community and support teams very successfully in the past - having a track record of building happy, productive teams, that make customers delighted.
- Have lots of knowledge about low carb and how it could help hundreds of millions of people. Currently eat some version of low carb or keto.
- Have lots of experience with how to build and manage large, warm, Facebook communities.
- Willing to work nontraditional, but flexible hours as work across time zones requires.


- An excellent communicator (English), both in speech and writing.
- Smart, driven, and hard working.
- Solution-oriented, attentive to detail, organized, positive.
- Enjoy working independently, but are also a team player who helps out when needed.
