The department

Corporate Digital Experience is responsible for the global digital experience of Scania. This incorporates setting the strategy for digital experiences, providing digital experience platforms and delivering the experience expertise that the organisation need. We also work across Scania to set and enable the design thinking framework on a global level.

We are three teams and our shared purpose is quite simple; to inspire, empower and enable teams and individuals across Scania to provide premium digital experiences, for all types of users, while keeping it coherent with our vehicle experience and other touch points.

The team

The Design Strategy team is responsible for setting the direction for our all of Scania's digital touch points, working closely with Brand Management and Industrial Design to ensure that we as a company provide a seamless experience in all interactions. Global standards for design thinking, UX, UI and all the other things needed to create world leading digital experiences are also their respsonsibility.

It's not all theory though, they also do hands-on work for certain projects, where they deliver the absolute best examples of digitial experiences that we as a company can provide.

The cross-department collaboration with the other teams in Corporate Digital Experience is very important to us, since the output from Corporate Digital Experience Strategy forms the basis for them when they aim to create high quality outcomes for our platforms and partners.

The role

As Head of Corporate Digital Experience Strategy, you have an end-to-end responsibility for the teams deliveries. That incorpororates, for example, recrutiment, people management, budget work, financial follow-up and optimisation, team vision framework, stakeholder management and both internal and external communication. That last bit about communication is important, since we believe that leading by example and inspiring others is the best way to reach our long-term goals.

You will be a part of the management team of Corporate Digital Experience, working closely together with your manager colleagues to ensure that the department is always enabling the best outcomes for Scania as a whole.

You will also be working with colleagues across TRATON Group, to ensure that the different brands are developing according to the strategies we set.

Your profile

In order for you to thrive in this role, you need to have vast experience working with brand development, since it's such an integral part of the teams mission. When it comes to the list below, you don’t have to check all the bullets, but if you can, that’s of course a bonus.

• You have previous experience in brand development, preferrably from more than one brand and from complex B2B contexts.
• What we do has often not been done before, so you need to be comfortable working without set supporting structures, with the goal of creating them when needed.
• You base your decisions on insights about Scania, the industry and our different stakeholders.
• You have experience in working according to corporate strategies, objectives and targets - translating them to your context and area of responsibility.
• You always seek ways to challenge and validate your work through feedback and insights.
• You have experience in leading and educating organisations in brand development and the value of delivering holistic experiences.
• You are great at communicating the value of a strong brand and adapting your communication depending on the audience, such as designers, developers, product managers or senior management.
• You are pragmatic and curious in the way you approach challenges, sometimes a small step is the best step.
• You have previous leadership experience.
• You are open to some travelling, when required.

The benefits
