Volvo Penta Region Europe is recruiting for the following position,

Head of Dealer Business Management, Region Europe

The Dealer Business Management organization is responsible for development of the aftermarket network to drive the business growth through sales of parts, accessories, soft products and engines in Europe. The Volvo Penta dealer network is handled by 100 Volvo Penta Centers (VPC) and 700 Volvo Penta Service Dealers (VPS). You will report directly to the President of Europe and be a member of the European Management Team. You will also be a member of the Volvo Penta Global Aftermarket committee.

Main area of responsibility
-As Head of Dealer Business Management your main area responsibility is to develop and execute strategies and actions for market leading support via Volvo Penta dealer network to our customers:
-Develop and execute strategies for the Volvo Penta dealer network in Europe supporting the main segments Industrial, Marine Leisure and Marine Commercial
-Establish excellent relationships within your counterpart in the Volvo Group, OEMs and major Fleet Owners
-Possess excellent cooperation with your regional counterpart in Volvo Penta
-Plan and execute financial targets for the Dealer Business Management department
-Drive Sales and financial KPI?s versus target
-Secure global and regional aftermarket frame agreements with OEMs and fleet owners
-Develop pricing strategies for Europe
-Identify and develop business training programs for Volvo Penta dealers
-Develop marketing strategies for the aftermarket
-Manage, inspire and develop the Dealer Business Management organisation
-Plan and host the European VPC Conference

Qualifications
With a talent for cultural integration and business analysis, the Head of Dealer Business Management holds a university degree or MBA and is able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience. As Head of Dealer Business Management, you need to have a proven management experience preferably with customer?s interfaces.

Demonstrating a high and solid level in each of the Volvo Group Leadership competencies for the Leading Manager level, the Head of Dealer Business Management will be an inspiring and inclusive leader as well as an active team worker.

The work as Head of Dealer Business Management includes distinctive problem-solving abilities and a good understanding of the various Volvo Penta business segments is needed.

Specific and proven experiences in the following areas are specifically sought for:
-Relevant experience within retail business
-Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of ?flexibility?, including an ability to network effectively across a diverse customer base and to build enduring relationships across functional areas and geographical areas
-Experience from managing international relations and negotiations at executive levels
-Significant change management experience
-Demonstrated ability to set demanding targets and to motivate teams and individuals to deliver outside their comfort zones, whilst further developing an excellent working climate and atmosphere in alignment with the Volvo Way and the Code of Conduct.

The Head of Dealer business Management has willingness and ability to travel as needed and as all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required. Additional language knowledge is considered as a merit.
