Head of Finance to Scania IT

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a heavy truck manufacturer to a provider of sustainable transport solutions. IT is a vital enabler on this change journey. Scania IT has therefore initiated a significant transformation towards improved flow orientation and a focus on agile ways of working.

Your duties
You will be heading the Scania IT Finance department, currently consisting of ten business controllers and an accounting team led by our chief accountant. Our business controllers work closely together with the departments and leadership teams, Providing support to the departments and teams within Scania IT is one of our main tasks.

You will be responsible for developing models for follow-up and controlling, have the overall responsibility for book closing, external financial reports, other accounting and tax topics, liquidity planning, budgeting and forecasting, investment calculations, financial control as well as giving support and guidance in topics concerning commercial law.

You will be a member of the Scania IT leadership team and will be expected to actively contribute to creating a close-knit team. Your energy will be an important and valued addition as we continue our change journey.

Your profile
We are looking for a business-oriented person with good knowledge of different parts of the Scania business. You are an experienced leader with elevated communication skills and you have a strong engagement in our core values and the Scania leadership principles. You have a deep knowledge of similar assignments and a clear ability to cooperate, this combined with a capacity to establish and manage relationships. You are a strong team player with a sense of integrity and an interest in change management. We expect that you work close to the business and act as a speaking partner to the MD as well as to the management team as a whole, both when it comes to business and financial topics. You value the collaboration with your colleagues and bring with you a good team spirit and high professional ethics as well as new ideas to the improvement work at Scania IT, since we continuously challenge the work processes. Change is a natural part of your day-to-day work.

As a leader, you believe in developing people and giving them opportunities to grow. You know how to achieve balance between sometimes conflicting interests, e.g. long-term competence development, short-term deliveries and co-workers personal situation. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing.
