Head of HR Services Nordic

Sandvik Human Resources (HR) is a global function that works towards the fostering of a global, high-performance Sandvik organization. Our delivery secures and enables high-quality HR services for all of Sandvik’s businesses, adding value at the right cost and in line with the ONE Sandvik strategy.

At HR Services we provide globally consistent HR advisory & specialist services to Sandvik employees and line managers across all business areas. We are now looking for a Head of HR Services for the Nordic region, serving about 13 500 Sandvik employees in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark. The location for this position is Sandviken.

Key performance areas

As the Head of HR Services Nordic, you lead and manage the delivery of operational HR Services in the region and your responsibilities include effective planning, development and implemention of cost efficient HR services for the Sandvik Group. You are leading an organization with 110 employees working in teams that manage areas like contact service, recruitment, pay-role, employee relations, learning coordination and administration as well as general HR administration and HR specialist services.

In this position you develop annual strategy plans to meet business requirements and continuous improvement needs, and you are responsible for evolving capabilities and skills within HR Services in the Nordic region. You identify business opportunities to further utilize operations across the region, and you create a supportive environment for the development of both individuals and teams.

Proactively building relationships across Sandvik and being accountable for providing a consistent and high quality service within the region are part of your responsibility, and together with HR Services Global and Regional management teams, you develop processes and offerings to meet changing business needs and deliver on continuous improvement goals.

This position reports to Global Head of HR Services, and you must be prepared for extensive global travel at times.

Kvalifikationer:
We are looking for someone with a relevant degree or work experience, who has at least seven years’ experience from a leading role within HR or other shared service area. Your background makes you well prepared for the challenges of managing an international organization, and you have a proven track record of extensive skills in change management. Your communication skills in English and Swedish are excellent, both in writing and speaking.
