Avincis is Europe's leading and largest Aerial Emergency Service operator, with a mission to save lives and protect communities and the enviroment. Avincis provides Aerial Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Aerial Search and Rescue operations (SAR) and Aerial Firefighting missions (AFF). Avincis operates at a global level, with home territories in Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Portugal and Finland, and with operations in Chile and Mozambique. Avincis counts on a team of more than 2,400 courageous and talented professionals, including highly experienced pilots, crews and technicians who fly and maintain a fleet of more than 200 aircrafts. The Nordic Region have approx 400 employees and a total of 18 bases and 5 offices/base maintenance in three countries and 1 simulator suite and training centre.
As a Head of Nordics for Avincis Aviation you will play a key role in the strategic discussions in the Executive Team and influence the direction and growth of the business. You will report to the CEO and collaborate with the Board and CEO in articulating the strategy and objectives.
Safety and compliance are our highest priority. As such you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all activities associated with the safe operation in the Region and actively drive a culture of zero harm.
You will be responsible for managing the growth and performance and ensure viability, growth and profitability with a sustainable operation and an engaged workforce.
As a Head of Nordics you are expected to be a role model for the highest standards of integrity, business ethics and trust.

The right candidate has the following experience:
· Extensive executive level leadership in the aviation industry.
· Significant knowledge of aviation regulatory and compliance requirements in the Region in which the business operates.
· Proven track record of the successful achievement of financial and commercial objectives in the aviation sector.
· Experience in working with ever changing market trends
Main qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Business, a technical discipline or equivalent.
Language requirements:
· English
· Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is desirable
