Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Scania Financial Processes Centre (SFPC), is since 2013 an established Shared Service Centre within Scania. Our organisation is located in Södertälje, Bangalore and Krakow and is handling Accounts payable and Accounts receivable. SFPC stakeholders are to be found within Scania´s Industrial Operation, Commercial Operation as well as Financial Services. The Geographical scope is EU, Norway, Switzerland and Australia.

We are now looking for a Head of Operation to SFPC. As a Head of Operation, you will have a central role in leading a dynamic organization with strong focus in service delivery, process- and change management. In addition, you will be sponsor for a project portfolio with a number of ongoing projects and you will have a wide network of contacts and cooperation both internally and externally. You will report to the SFPC Director and your workplace will be at our head office in Södertälje. Travel occurs in the position.

Area of Responsibility

As a Head of Operations, your area of ??responsibility will include:


• Accountability for the SFPC organization and its operations, including governance, process development and continuous improvements;
• Responsible for the governance from a Scania perspective and accountable for the partnership between SFPC and our third party service provider.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for you as a driven leader with proven experience in managing both people and organisations in change. You have an academic background in Finance / IT and proven experience of financial and commercial work, used to work with business and financial processes and organizational development. You are skilled at acting and guiding based on different methods and tools in change projects as well as used to preparing and presenting decision material on an executive level. The work includes international contacts, so you communicate fluently in both English and Swedish.

Personal characteristics

As a person you are accountable and a brave, driven and operational experienced leader. Furthermore, you are analytical, challenging and good at conducting a commercial dialogue. You are good at prioritizing, acting upon and managing several  activities simultaneously. To enjoy working at SFPC you are a social person and you have a good communicative skills, since the work involves many contacts internally as well as externally.
