Head of Remote Tower Systems

Your role

As Head of RTS you will lead the overall customer project deliveries of Remote Tower Systems and military ATC, also including production and customer support.

You will report to the Head of Product Area Air Traffic Management Tower Systems and be part of the Management Team of the Product Area



RTS management covers:

*

Deliver all customer projects in Remote Tower Systems and military air traffic control (ATC), with responsibility for sales and Gross Margin in the projects.
*

Leading an organization of about 50 people consisting of four groups. Likely growing as we expect our business to grow.
*

Production of Remote Tower camera sensor platforms etc.
*

Customer support
*

Budget and forecasts
*

Support M&S with specialist competence in tenders including cost estimation
*

Traditional line management including e g process improvements
*

Input improvement and innovation ideas to product management

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.



What you will be a part of

ATM TS (Air Traffic Management Tower System) provide systems for the Air Traffic Controllers at the airports. This includes both traditional towers as well as remote towers. The Product Area do business globally and is located with development sites in Gothenburg, Växjö and Apeldoorn, as well as Air Service Navigation Provider remotely from Sundsvall.



The Product Area belong to Business unit Traffic Management (TM) with civil product for security and safety.



The Business Unit belongings to Business Area Surveillance that offers world-leading sensor technology in monitoring and decision support to protect against threats. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, C4I solutions, aviation systems and cyber security.
