Do you want to have global impact working within the epicenter of the financial industry?

Nasdaq is building our new Global Service Desk Organization and is looking for a key leader to drive this new part of the organization.

As the Head of Global Service Desk you will need to be innovative and demonstrate thoughtful leadership, with the ability to foster a positive and effective work environment which will fuel client success. This position will be based in Stockholm, Sweden within our Market Technology- Client Success Organization.

In this role, you will play a significant part in delivering the next generation service-based technology to Nasdaq's clients around the world. A key objective for this new position will be to further improve and advance the existing Service Desk function while in parallel building out new capabilities catered for the new services which Nasdaq is bringing to the market.

As the new Head of Service Desk you will manage and develop the global team of Service Desk professionals to enable enhanced client success and delivery of advanced technical solutions. You will be working in a highly competent team and be a member of the Client Success Management team that is characterized by innovation and development in a high pace working environment.

Further responsibilities:

* Develop new SaaS based offerings together with the Product Management function at Nasdaq Market Technology
* Drive service excellence
* Develop internal and external clients relationships
* Apply technology to automate service delivery
* Define interfaces and develop intra-departmental processes
* Constantly work with quality and efficiency improvements

Experience and Professional Accomplishments:

* University degree; MSc and/or MBA or equivalent experience
* Senior Management experience from IT Service Management

Skills and Requirements

* Proven experience from working with geographically diverse service delivery locations
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to execute clear and precise C-Level suite presentations
* You are efficient and client oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills, as the role will require you to liaise with different departments, business teams, and clients at all levels
* Experience from SaaS
* Knowledge in ITIL
* Experience working in international financial markets
