The Scandinavian Travel organization is decentralized comprising offices in Denmark, Sweden and Norway and has a commercial scope with a main focus on our eight routes in Scandinavia

The Head of Travel Scandinavia has the main responsibility for driving efficient sales, marketing & shore based customer service in Scandinavia towards end consumers and, also requires an active contribution to developing pricing, distribution & E-commerce strategies. Responsible for a team of 40 persons including 4 direct reports and a budget of approximately 0,5 billion SEK.

Based in Gothenburg, Sweden and, entailing extensive travelling. The position reports to the Group Travel Director.

Preliminary start of employment is March 1st

Requirements:



• Extensive experience of marketing and sales within fast paced consumer goods industry.

• Leadership experience, minimum 5 years, preferably from decentralized, Scandinavian or Nordic organization.

• University degree within marketing and sales, or equivalent experience

• Very strong business and sales orientation with a genuine interest in sales figures and a proven track record from sales and business development

• Experience in handling large sales and marketing budgets

• Experience and knowledge of online sales and e-commerce

• Minimum ten years experience in sales and marketing to end consumers & retailers

• Fluent spoken and written business English

• Knowledge in Swedish, Norwegian and Danish is an advantage

• Experience from travel industry and Scandinavian markets are an advantage.

You would also need to be comfortable managing a high workload within a dynamic commercial environment.
