We now look for a Regional Head of Expansion to lead our Expansion Teams across Region Hemisphere.
Job Description
As Regional Head of Expansion you lead the overall strategic expansion plan for the region and secure its execution for the different markets. You are responsible for the profitability, regional investment frame, and other goals and you align market negotiations, portfolio management, investments and procurement strategies within the region.
You secure a strong foundation for collaboration and alignment across regional expansion functions as well as other functions of our business.
Your key responsibilities are:
You set long- and short-term goals for the department in order to reach the company and regional objectives.
You set the overall strategic expansion plan for the region and build pipeline on projects and develop talents to make sure that we secure its execution.
You have the ownership of the financially and commercially healthy portfolio and new project performance.
You understand involvement of all other stakeholders and secure their input.
You secure that all strategy, negotiations and contract execution is in line with company, legal and ethical standards.
You take customer behavior in all channels into consideration in the expansion plan.
You have the responsibility for the regional profitability and the occupancy cost level of the regional portfolio and take the relevant actions to secure the financial health of the portfolio long term.
You ensure cross functional collaboration between leasing, C&F and Controlling, as well as Store design
You secure high professionalism of teams in your markets by giving clear feedback on development areas, providing ideas and promoting cross-department and cross-brand collaboration.



Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Law or Engineering
At least 5 years of Expansion experience, or relevant senior management position in H&M or another international retail company
You have good knowledge in expansion strategy, leasing, store design and construction & facilities
Experience from working in an international, matrix organization with several stakeholders and seniority levels.
Coaching and leadership experience
Advanced English level
