HR manager Operation North (Lycksele)

The Position

The main responsibility as HR Manger for the units in Operation North, Lycksele (furniture factory), Malå (glue board factory) and Glommersräsk (sawmill) HR agenda together and in a partnership with business leaders to positively contribute to excellent business performance, with focus on leadership, competence- and organizational development. The HR manager is a key role in the Factory Management Team as the main responsible driving the people strategy questions for the units. The HR Manager will lead in accordance with the IKEA Industry mission and the factory objectives to secure short term, medium and long term profitability of the business.

Further the HR Manager is expected to work with the following tasks:

? Implement the IKEA people strategy and IKEA Industry people plan ? Culture & Values, Leadership/Diversity, Building competence, Talent management and work place and all related activities connected to these areas.
? Be part of developing the strategic roadmap of the division and implement that plan in the Operation North Units.
? Daily operational HR managers tasks
? To secure that the factories are at minimum level regarding labour laws and standards. Health and safety are highlighted focus areas.
? Motivate and inspire the units to work with continuous improvements
? Negotiation with the Union
The HR manager´s responsibility is also to lead the HR back office for the factories. In this responsibility there are tasks like:

? Salary administration function
? Co-ordinate and secure compensation/benefit areas
? Site related HR topics and coordination of community activities
We believe you have a strong labour law profile with good negotiation ability and excellent social skills.
You will report to the general manager for Operation North and be part of the management team. In the division Solid Wood you will be a member of the HR team with 12 colleagues in other countries and your matrix HR manger is the HR manager for Division Solid Wood. The position enables opportunities to influence and drive the people strategy and plan for Operation North. You will be located in Lycksele, Sweden.

Your profile
To be qualified for this position you have a university degree within human resources or equal experiences. You have a proven successful record of qualitative HR work from IKEA or other international companies, preferably from the manufacturing business. You have experience from working with Swedish labor law and union relations. You are result driven, open minded and can easily create trust. You communicate in an inspiring way and are used to work independently in a fast pace environment. You are an excellent role model for the IKEA values and have the potential and the ambition for further growth within the company. You need to be a change leader as we have many new topics on both the business agenda and the HR agenda and you are very operational in your daily work.

Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, are a prerequisite as well as PC-skills on a professional level.
