We offer a role with great variations where you will work with a broad span of tasks, from high-level strategic work to operational hands-on issues.



This is a full-time permanent position and you will be reporting to Head of HR, Nordics. You will be working at APM Terminals Nordic, with responsibilities and location in Gothenburg. APM Terminals is a part of the A.P. Moller-MAERSK group.



Your responsibilities

You will provide guidance on design, development and deployment of HR initiatives in support of the HR strategy, which may include the following:

- Work environment/health/rehabilitation
- Compensation & Benefits
- Recruitment & Employer Branding
- Reward
- Labor law
- Process improvement/optimization

You will work in close partnership with our managers to develop their people, providing advice, guidance and ad-hoc training and work with the business areas to establish and introduce systems and processes.

In addition, you will be handling union relations and negotiations, providing support to managers related to labor law and individual cases and consistently challenging the status quo and constantly acting as an agent for change.

You are a person who likes to take initiatives and you have a strong drive to get things done. You quickly identify and respond to customer needs, and while doing so, always strive to improve and find new solutions. Further, you easily identify and organize the resources you need to get your job done in the best possible way and you plan your time well. Being a team player at heart, good at communicating and collaborating with people on all levels, you can still enjoy carrying out tasks on your own. You also enjoy working in a dynamic organization where change constantly is on the agenda - with you acting as an important change agent.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need some or a few years of experience of broad HR work.

Our business is containers and we handle over 40% of all import and export to Sweden. APM Terminals Gothenburg is the largest container terminal in the Nordics with capacity to receive and handle the biggest ocean-going vessels in the world, coming from other continents. Around 50% of all containers to and from APM Terminals are transported by rail, which means big environmental benefits. This is a dynamic environment that include complex operations parts, to a large extent digitalized.
