About the job

Drive, coordinate and develop Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities/projects, building HSE mindset and competences within Nordic with focus on our Field Service Engineers and Service Centres, in alignment with Alfa Laval’s Health & Safety and Environmental Strategy/Policies. In case of deviations, you collaborate with our Field Service Engineers, Sales and our Customers to find the best way forward.

Drive & manage the sustainability initiatives at Nordic, including waste management, recycling, energy conservation, and water conservation. Find gaps, prioritize activities, and feel accountable for the result. Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to set goals for the company and their specific department.

Key tasks could be:
* Conduct and communicate safety talks, safety alerts and safety trainings for staff.
* Manage safety incident reports and conduct incident/injury investigations.
* Conducting regular inspections of the site and consider how risks can be reduced.
* Visit our customers to make sure a safe working environment for our employees.

Who you are

You are a strong dialogue-oriented person, who seeks collaboration with colleagues and customers and take a high degree of accountability. You are enthusiastic by about achieving results, maintaining high levels of energy and focus over time to reach ambitious goals. You have a structured approach with a great sense of involving people around you, and you know how to explain complex solutions in an unbiased way.

What you know

To succeed in this position, you:
* Are an experienced people person who are enthusiastic to take part and facilitate discussions with customers and colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
* Have documented experience in working with HSE and Sustainability for a minimum of four years.
* Bring a solid process, administration and change management background.
* Ideally possess experience from an international matrix organisation and your language skills in Swedish and English are excellent in both verbal and written.
* Enjoy challenging the current state to achieve a better future state and get motivations from being close to our customers to secure a safe working environment.

You can expect approx. 50 travelling days within Nordics a year. Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, this role will ideally have its base in Staffanstorp/Lund alternatively in Tumba, Stockholm.
