HUB BU Controller till Power Generation Nordics

You will be part of Power Generation in Västerås. Our business unit is a part of the Power Systems Division, and is a leading provider of integrated power and automation solutions for conventional, renewable power plants and water applications. We manage a comprehensive portfolio, based on our automation offering with instrumentation and control systems as well as electrical and turnkey solutions. Our technology is supported by a service offering to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

Tasks
This is an entirely new role within ABB, providing you with excellent opportunities to influence your future workdays. Your main mission will be to contribute to the development of our HUB business unit strategy - translating it into business plans with measurable targets. It is a multifaceted position where you will act as a business partner to the HUB BU Manager and as an interface to the Global BU Controller. You will also become a Product Group Controller in Sweden and have close contacts with the LPG managers in allocated countries as well as local product group controllers. All to provide valuable input to key stakeholders and manage processes regarding financial performance, relevant markets, order developments, customer situations and future prospects. You will also lead our regional controlling teams to ensure and optimize financial performance within your geographical area. Another part of your job will be to support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data. This includes managing risk review procedures and processes - ensuring compliance with global policies and standards. With all this as part of your every day, you will be given a great platform for further development within ABB.

Requirements
You combine a university degree in Economics or Engineering with 8 to 10 years' experience from a position in a financial or control department. It is important that at least five of those years have been dedicated to project controlling in an international work environment, including export business in sales and project execution. In addition, you also need knowledge of financial accounting and reporting as well as strong skills in project risk analysis. Change management capabilities and fluency in both Swedish and English are also vital. Proficiency in additional Nordic languages is a plus.

It is important that you are a result-oriented person with business acumen and the ability to question as well as advocate your point of view in a humble yet confident manner. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are therefore vital qualities. Last but not least, you need to be able to engage and motivate people from different cultural backgrounds.
