Our client is a market leader in the manufacture, supply and service of equipment and technology for the energy sector.To help drive the organisation's ongoing strategy for growth, they now wish to appoint a high-calibre Human Resources Manager.Based in Malmo, and reporting to the Human Resources Director for EMEA and local general management, you will be working as a true HR Business Partner adding value across the Nordic region by aligning HR activity to support the business strategy.You will also ensure the effective delivery of HR service through the leadership of a small HR team. The successful candidate will be an experienced Human Resource 'generalist' who is familiar with operating across international boundaries, comfortable with regular travel, and ideally has exposure to driving performance improvement within a manufacturing environment.Combining strategic vision and understanding of HR, they will equally be at ease working in a "hands on" operational mode.They will have broad based knowledge across range of HR disciplines including recruitment, employment relations succession planning and compensation & benefits, gained within a dynamic multinational environment.Candidates will be fluent in Swedish and possess a strong command of the English language.An understanding of other Nordic languages would be helpful, as would exposure to manufacturing operations.Some knowledge of supporting LEAN working processes and/or principles would be useful, but by no means essential.This is a high profile role offering considerable responsibility, authority and skills enhancement within a 'world-class' business.
