Main tasks -Use the forecast and turn it into a master schedule.-Maintain the master schedule as sales orders come in.-Determine and maintain planning bills.-Break down the master schedule to a forecast on components for our suppliers.-Analyze forecast and master schedule accuracy.-Develop planning methods for the components together with materials planning.-Participate in the sales & operations planning.-Plan phase in- & out of products.-Determine our delivery capability for large orders and projects.-Analyze projects in an early stage to find items that require a strategic buy.-Determine Available to promise on sales orders.-Assist the planning manager in developing planning methods and processes.
