HW expert

As an HW Expert you will be involved in all vehicles developed at CEVT. You will review HW designs and component selections to give feedback to the suppliers in order to improve the HW design. You will also support the HW responsible persons at CEVT with best practices when designing HW for the automotive industry.
You will work in the Electrical Integration Module Team in the Electrical department.
The Electrical Integration Module Team is a cross functional team working with EMC and ELP but also contains planning and coordination functions as well as the Software Configuration Center.

Responsibilities and tasks
• To support the HW responsible persons or supplier with constructive feedback on the HW design, both pro-actively and after a problem has been identified
• Develop best practices to handle the requirements of today and the future
• Review the suppliers HW design
• Do technical assessments concerning a lot of different issues.
• Give technical advice to component owners & suppliers

Profile and Background
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. Eng. or similar
• Experience of automotive development and design (HW)
• Application of technologies in products/projects in the automotive industry
• Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies/automotive standards
• Ability to motivate and convince component owners
• Able to work in a structured way
• Quick and efficient in problem resolving
• Skilled in simulation of electrical circuit design
• Knowledge in RF, power & digital electronics
• Knowledge in electro mechanics & interface between electric/electronics & mechanics
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Skilled user in Microsoft Office
• You have the ability and interest to share your knowledge with other members of the team
• You have a cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
• Able to handle a quick pace of changes
• Able to travel from time to time
