Hydrodynamic Engineer

As a Hydrodynamic Engineer within the Core Competence Team you will work with performance analysis and give support in the design process regarding new and existing products by using designated calculations and design tools. You will work closely with our production, sales and design teams. Within the work you will contribute in developing new design and calculation tools, which will be used both within the group as well as within the entire organization. Your job will require you to support as a technical expert in entire Caterpillar Propulsion and you will get to work in an environment where you get closely connected to the products, production and the sales process.

Required qualifications

- Master degree in Naval Architect Engineering or equivalent
- 1-3 years working experience with numerical computations.
- Skilled in numerical computations for instance in CFD.
- Knowledge of FEM and 3D CAD
- Knowledge and has an interest in programming.
- High skills in speech and writing English.
- Logical, analytic and well organized.
