IKEA of Sweden, or IoS, is responsible for developing the IKEA range and making it available to stores and customers all over the world.Expressed in terms of IKEAs three main processes, IoS leads the processes Creating the Home Furnishings Offer and Supplying.IoS also takes part in the third main process, called Communicating & Selling, which is lead by Retail. Job description As a Sustainability Leader you are responsible for the development and mapping of the Life Cycle of the product range.Your main assignment is to make sure that IKEA will meet the needs of present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.You will be responsible for a number of critical projects where your focus will be directed towards technical, environmental and business issues.You will define and develop everyday life sustainability checkpoints.Job requirements We believe that you are a qualified engineer with a minimum of five years of experience in the environmental field.You are an experienced project leader with excellent management skills and a good understanding and competence related to production.Your competence lies within SHE, Forrester, environmental management or similar areas.Personal skills You are enthusiastic, driven and determined, enjoy working closely with people and have great communication & convincing skills.You have the capability to lead, manage and motivate people with development assignments/projects.You have a strong result orientation and ability to prioritize.You have a problem solving approach and the ability to make holistic, proactive and rational fact based decisions.We hope that you like to contribute with your unique personality and competence for IKEAs future and welcome your application.
