Image system and algorithm engineer

You will work in projects covering several key areas, e.g. sensors, optics, image processing, imaging related features and algorithms. In this position you will occasionally travel to Axis global vendors in US and Asia to work on our agenda, evaluate and set requirements. Other examples of responsibilities are:

• Interact and discuss technology roadmaps, functionality and problems with our global chip platform partners.
• Experimenting and develop new functionality to enhance our technology portfolio as well as looking ahead and be part of the coming platforms and product launches.
• Investigate and develop image system frameworks including image sensors, image signal processing steps always considering high performance and quality aspects.
• Optimize, debug and trouble shoot image processing in various Linux environments during HW bring-up, as well as during the platform and product development phase.

Your team:
Your future team, Core Product Platforms is responsible for the video and image processing framework and the CPU subsystem SW forming a technology platform, the foundation for all Axis products. You will play a very important role using your engineering abilities to strengthen their image agenda in future platforms.

We are looking for an open-minded team player that can contribute with good spirit and welcomes different Agile working methodologies.
Qualification and experience:

• You have a Master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar
• You have experience of working with Linux
• Experience of development in C programming language
• Your English is fluent, both written and verbal
