In Vivo Experimentalist (Oncology)

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a highly motivated experimentalist with a long background in in vivo oncology. You will be working in an innovative biotech research environment and be responsible for the daily performance of the animal experiments. In this role you will help to summarize, analyze and document data. You will also be handling ex vivo samples as well as to prepare cell cultures for in vivo experiments. You will be working within R&D.

Qualification:

We are looking for a person with the following experience and qualification:

• You have a relevant experience in vivo oncology, preferably an extensive experience in xenograft models and/or orthotopic cancer models.

• You have completed the course for laboratory animal science or equivalent certification according to the new EU regulation.

• You have research experience and excellent skills in most or all of the following areas:

- General animal handling, blood sampling and drug administration

- Biopsy and organ collection

- Sterile techniques and cell culture handling

• You have a genuine interest to work with animals

• It is considered as an advantage if the candidate have experience in common in vitro laboratory practices

• The company language is English.

On a personal level, you are flexible, quality minded with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in an environment requiring discretion and good judgment. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for this role.
