Information Security Specialist

The Information Security Specialist supports the development and implementation of information security in IKEA Group. The position is in the IKEA Group information security team which is leading Information Security at IKEA Group. Main objectives of the team are to create the necessary prerequisites, support and enable the IKEA operating units to achieve the defined goals in information security. The team is positioned in the IKEA IT Delivery organisation, but has the assignment to develop and lead information security at all IKEA Group operating units. Another team leads information security in IT Delivery.

Important for this position is understanding the IKEA Business, having customers in focus and understanding how information security measures affect business and co-workers. Your starting point is information risk management and supporting IKEA in handling information risks. You will facilitate information risk assessments and support information security self assessments, reviews and audits. You work independently and ensure the development of assigned information security areas and progress by making a plan and follow this up. You act as an ambassador for information security in your daily work when interacting with co-workers and follow the latest developments and trends in information security.

Is this the right challenge for you?
We are looking for a future co-worker that has experience in working with information security at the business side (not IT Security). We can also imagine that today you work as an IT Auditor, but would like to work with information security at the business side.
Important capabilities we are looking for are: organisational change management, facilitation, verbal and written communication skills, taking initiatives, committed and driven, self-going and able to work in a team to achieve common goals, willingness to find the balance between business needs and risks and analytical.

For this position it is beneficial to have a basic understanding of IT processes, application development, IT infrastructure and IT architecture.
