Stora Enso’s division Packaging Solutions is now looking for an Innovation and Business Analyst.
Packaging Solutions division develops and sells world class renewable and sustainable packaging products and services. We constantly innovate and find new ways to replace fossil-based packaging with renewable, eco-friendly alternatives. Our innovative packaging solutions are used by leading customers and brands across multiple industries.

In the role of Innovation and Business Analyst, you would be operating in the centre of our divisional innovation agenda – working towards identifying new innovations and opportunities to improve our sustainable packaging offering. In this position, you will provide insights based on your analysis on relevant technical and economic topics in the packaging industry, such as market dynamics, competition, industry trends and peers move. You will support the creation of a solid business intelligence for sustainable packaging solutions, understanding new business creation built on sustainability and circularity.
Your independent research will be conducted using sources such as industry databases, market research reports, press, academic research and internal and external expert interviews. You will support and conduct workshops to achieve results. You will provide support to our strategy process and innovation agenda, contributing significantly to our division’s path forward.
This is a new position in our organisation and the position holder will be part of Packaging Solutions Division’s Product Management team. Your network of stakeholders will include packaging solutions, product management, innovation, operation, supply chain and Stora Enso business intelligence community. Location of the position can be any Stora Enso office or manufacturing site.
Requirements
To be able to succeed in the role, you will need an understanding of business context and processes. Experience of previous business intelligence work will be of value but not required. Through your work, you will build a wide expertise of the industry and its dynamics and develop functional knowledge on an ongoing basis.

• have studied economics, engineering or packaging and have an outstanding track record minimum BSc education degree
• are genuinely interested in topics in the sustainable packaging industry
• have excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• are determined to solve complex problems and have a “let’s do it!” attitude
• can exercise independent judgment and act on it, drive conclusions from data
• are result oriented, logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
• can communicate persuasively in English – both orally and in writing
• have good Excel and Power Point skills
• thrive in a team environment
• are highly self-motivated and ready to go the extra mile.
