Fyndiq was established on the market in 2010 and has since then enjoyed a rapid growth. In 2011 sales were 8 million, which increased in 2012 to 56 million. Fyndiq is operated by experienced entrepreneurs with full involvement and high goals for the future. Our vision is to become the largest e-commerce platform in Sweden and as we go on we see strong growth both in Sweden and internationally. Today we are 42 ambitious and proud employees and we are growing rapidly within all our teams. To enhance our technical team we are now looking for a skilled developer who will take responsibility for our API.

At Fyndiq our tech-team develops everything, from server infrastructure and back-end code in Python/Django to front-end development in JavaScript and HTML. As a developer in our team you will work together with 6 highly skilled developers that take pride in creating elegant, simple solutions that scale well. With our team you will work in a way that is inspired by the open source community and our work rely on communication via GitHub.

In this position you will work as a developer with the full responsibility for integrations when merchants want to integrate with our API. This position involves creating new modules and functionalites as well as improving our API in a scalable and effective way. Besides this you will be our technical responsible for the API in the dialogue with merchants. You will also be working with the team to improve our platform and website.


Who are you?

We are looking for a talented developer who knows Django and/or Python. Although, what languages you know is not the main thing as long as you are a skilled coder and a quick learner who takes pride in writing clean, well documented code that is easily maintained. To succeed in this position you have prior experience from developing API's, preferably from the e-commerce business. Besides that experience from web development and knowledge in PHP is highly meritorious. We also believe that you enjoy working for a fast growing entrepreneurial startup company that use English as working language.

As a person you take pride in being part of building our own platform which means that you are careful, accurate and want to make a difference. Since you will be handling API it is important that you are service minded, outgoing and that you easily communicate with different types of merchants.
