Intellectual Property Counsel

Kongsberg Automotive IP&Law Department is looking for their next Intellectual Property Counsel. Primary location will be Kongsberg, Norway.

Main responsibilities:
- Patentability and Freedom-to-Operate studies
- Patent landscaping
- Patent portfolio management


Who are we looking for?
We believe that you have a couple of years experience as a Patent Attorney, IP Manager or have an academic degree in Intellectual Property Law/Management. Preferably, you would also have a degree in engineering or law. We expect you to be a proactive and driven person with a genuine interest in technology, business and law. It would be a merit if you are qualified as a European Patent Attorney or passed at least some of the qualifying exams. Proficiency in electronic engineering would further be to your advantage.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently. Additional language skills will be an advantage.
