Interaction Designer

In this role, you are responsible for developing interaction design and User Experience (UX) for CEVT’s Infotainment system in center stack display (CSD/IHU) and driver information in the instrument cluster (DIM). You will work within CEVT’s Infotainment & Driver Information Module Team, in the UX team consisting of interaction designers, graphical designers and prototype developers.

The UX team works according to scrum and everyone in the team is equally responsible for the final delivery to the project. This requires a high level of cooperation and team work.

You will work in close cooperation with HMI attribute, system and function owners, test responsible, and component owners. You will be part of a global development team with resources in both Sweden and China. 

Profile and Background
We are looking for you who want to be part of and contribute to our team and together develop and deliver a world class User Experience for our vehicle’s infotainment system.  To be successful in our team, it is important that you are positive, take initiative and bring up new ideas to solve complex problems. You have a strong personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative and deliver in a dynamic and changing environment. It is important for us that you have a strong sense of teamwork and work well with other people. In addition, you have a big interest and curiosity in other cultures and diversity.

• B.Sc. Interaction design/Technical design, Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar.
• >5 years’ experience of embedded systems development
• Experience of GUI development and prototyping
• Relevant working experience from HMI area and/or front-end programming
• Automotive experience is an advantage
• Experience of working with Asians is an advantage
• Driver’s license
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs
• Knowledge of SW development is an advantage
