Interim Brand Manager to JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS (JDE)

JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS is now looking for a driven Brand Manager with a strong passion for marketing. You will be working with an outstanding brand; either with Gevalia, Tassimo or Senseo. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your experience within marketing in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Example of assignments

- Initiate NPD projects and project manage local product innovations and adaptations from idea to implementation
- Develop category/brand plans, analyse key category growth drivers, identify category challenges and opportunities, develop targets and form annual activity plans and roadmaps etc.
- Monitor and track category and brand developments, flag risks and opportunities within product range
- Manage and execute consumer campaign and media
- Maintenance of website content and development of social media communication
- Responsibility for compiling local knowledge and key market insight with the central marketing organization
- Local contact point and responsibility for briefing external agencies


Experience and personal qualities
You have a university degree within a relevant field and 3-5 years’ experience of brand management. We also believe that you have experience with FMCG or relevant business experience with an impressive track record.

For this role we are looking for a candidate with strong analytical abilities, a winning mindset and a “can-do” attitude. The position requires that you enjoy managing your work autonomously, are self-motivated and have an entrepreneurial streak. It is also important that you have solid project management, planning and delivery skills. Simultaneously you are a communicative team player who collaborates well with your colleagues and fully takes advantage of market learnings.
