The Volvo Group International Graduate Programme gives you a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of the Volvo Group and to kick-start your career through international assignments, work in different parts of the organization, networking, and professional and personal development. Upon completion of the programme, you will continue to work in the position you were recruited.

The programme runs for 12 months and includes a combination of common and individual graduate activities and day-to-day work at the home company. It consists of three weeks of common development activities at different locations globally, where the participants meet and network. Common activities in the latest programme took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, Beijing/Shanghai, China and Greensboro, USA.

The programme also includes learning activities in your home organisation and a three months international assignment.

During the programme you will participate in training sessions covering fundamental Group concepts, such as diversity, personal development, project management, cross cultural communication etc.

Volvo Group International Graduate Programme - Product Planner & Business Development Soft Offers

Main areas of responsibility:
Initiate and pursue global strategy for soft-offers.
Develop and establish the Marine segment Product Plan for soft-offers
Interact with regions and other functions in order to communicate and follow-up the soft-offer plan.
Business case preparation and evaluation
Prepare presentations and decision material for various foras.

Present status reports etc for top management
You will report to the manager, Product Planning Marine Leisure.

The job requires close contact with the global market for marine leisure engines and transmissions in order to develop the market know-how. There are repeatedly presentations, discussion and meetings regarding suggested business development strategy and goals with company executives and other colleagues. It also demands close collaboration with the marketing and sales organisation, product development as well as colleagues in the Volvo group companies. The successful candidate will also participate in key boat-builder meetings and visit global boat exhibitions to maintain and develop Volvo Pentas international network.

Overall requirements:
Valid work-permit for applied country if not citizen
Excellent spoken and written English (Additional languages are given merit)
Maximum of two years previous work-experience after graduation
Master of Science or Business Administration
