The SAP Competence Center within Sandvik IT supports and develops several SAP solutions and is located in Sandviken, Sweden and Tübingen, Germany. We are now looking for SAP IT Application Specialist for our SAP Sales & Distribution (S&D) team, to be a key player in our future growth within the SAP area. With us, you will be part of a local team with global responsibility, and you will take part in interesting short and long-term development projects, in addition to maintaining existing solutions and supporting users of these systems. The location for this position is Sandviken, but another Sandvik location can be considered, as long as a few days per week are spent in Sandviken.

Job Summary
As an IT Application Specialist within SAP sales and distribution, you participate in the business process definition, in order to understand processes, requirements and design solutions for identified gaps. You provide system competence in the S&D. Creating outline solutions and estimate efforts needed to implement suggested solutions, creating functional specification and configuring solutions are some of your tasks, as is ensuring solution systems documentation. Furthermore, you work with system test, configuration, development and approving of tests, and are also responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer to other project team members and the Application management team.

As we support all of Sandvik globally, the frequency of traveling will depend on the projects and activities you are involved with.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT or Logistics. You have at least five years experience from working within the SAP sales and distribution area and you are well acquainted with the challenges of working in a global organization and with a global systems set-up. Previous work with shipping and/or transportation in S&D is considered valuable, as is experience from working in projects. You are skilled in SAP, and general knowledge of ERP systems and integrations is a plus. As we work in a global setting, your communication skills in English must be good, in both speaking and writing.
