IT Business and Consolidation Controller

Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global market-leading manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for cutting operations as well as of blanks and components.

The Consolidation and Reporting team within the Finance function at SMS is looking for an IT Business and Consolidation Controller, to strengthen the cost controls and forecasting of our IT costs, and to work with the reporting procedures within SMS.

Key performance areas

As IT Business Controller your responsibilities include:
- Follow-up of IT costs both locally and globally
- Being a member of the SMS IT management group
- Supporting the manager of SMS IT in financial matters
- Supporting the SMS IT organization with financial summaries and analysis
- Working with budgets and forecasts
- Follow-up and analysis of IT projects
- Participation in project groups
- Acting as speaking partner with the Sandvik IT organization

As Consolidation Controller your responsibilities include:
- Quality control of the monthly reporting made in BPC
- Responsibilities for BA-specific financial guidelines
- Participation in the BPC system group
- Participation in the SCOA group

In this role you will cooperate with Country Finance and the service provider, Cap Gemini, regarding accounting and structures within SAP.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance or who has acquired equivalent knowledge elsewhere. You have a few years of work experience within the financial field and an interest in and knowledge of business control. Excel skills are required, while knowledge of SAP and BPC are desired. Good communication skills in English are prerequisite.

As a person you are both analytical and outgoing, with a true interest in controlling. Knowledge transfer is important, and you are able to share information and knowledge with others in a structured way. You enjoy working on both a local and global level, establishing and maintaining contacts both as controller and as support.
