IT Manager

Your Role

As IT Manager, your overall goal is to create and improve our IT environment to support a worldwide software and hardware development.

The main tasks are

* A coordinated role for EW Systems IT related issues
* Development of our EW Systems IT Environment
* IT Security
* Cooperation with developers and Saab global IT organization
* Support our DevOps work
* The role is focused on technical management and does not involve any personnel responsibility

Your Profile

We are looking for a technical leader with good communications skills. You are driven by change and improvements and do not see technical challenges as obstacles.

Required skills:

* Deep technical knowledge with focus on IT environments
* Leadership experience with a background in IT
* A solid understanding and experience of agile development and management
* Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English
* A proactive and reliable team player with very good communications skills
* Ability to set strategies and clear goals to reach them
* Ability to make changes happen

Desired skills:

* Experience from product development and DevSecOps
* Experience of Export Control regulations
* Experience from working in an international business environment
* IT Governance models

What you will be a part of

You will work broadly across the entire EW System organization. Most of the questions will concern software development and you will belong to the Software Engineering management team. Head of Software Engineering will be your manager.

The management team consist of line managers with different expertise within management and software development. The management team work in close collaboration both within the team and with other teams. We strive to constantly improve our products and ways-of-working while maintain high quality.
