In a central role at SMR IT, in our Operational Excellence team, you’re involved in a hands-on approach to ensure the global IT organization works in the best possible way for our internal and external business environment. Your mission
In this position, you’re responsible for leading the overall development and continuous improvement of SMR IT operating model and governance - definitions, processes and working practices to enable and support an efficient and fit-for-purpose way of working based on our strategic direction and plans.
You drive our operating model work and engage with stakeholders for insights and improvement ideas. Together with your stakeholders and collaborators, you will maintain the operating model as a solid foundation for our organization’s execution, helping us all understand clearly the connection between why and how. Overall, you work with a broad perspective & collaboration, high independence and practicality.
The ideal location for this role is in Tampere, Finland, but our other sites in Stockholm or Sandviken in Sweden are also possible. Business travel days may occur, though rarely.

Your character
We’re looking for someone with a master’s degree in a relevant field. With several years of previous experience in working with organizational development, governance and change management, you’re a professional in your field. Experience with IT strategy, organizational design and transformations are valuable additions to your expertise. You’re an efficient communicator, with proven fluency in English, both written and verbally.
Your personality is essential to us –building collaborative relationships comes naturally and you’re self-motivated and enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams on a global level. You thrive when working in an active and dynamic way – driving the people around you forward while learning from them. You’re enthusiastic about seeing the bigger picture but can still focus your attention on details when needed. You’re also not a stranger to thinking outside the box or pushing others to do so as well.
