IT Procurement Lead, Nordics

We would like to hire a IT Procurement Lead,Nordics to manage our IT hardware and software procurement in the region. You will be based out of our TCS Nordic Headquarter in Stockholm and report to Internal IT head for EMEA region. Depending on actual business requirements travel within Sweden and/or abroad (incl India) will be required from time to time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage internal IT requirements, understand specifications, quality, delivery and cost.
- Participate in high-value, complex commercial and contractual negotiations, working with stakeholders and legal to close negotiations and contracts.
- Develop, implement and manage proposal activities; lead negotiation and completion of contracts with global strategic and preferred suppliers. Lead discussion with OEM Vendors on technology and commercials.
- Analyze spend, develop and implement actionable spend management strategies, and proactively manage the supply base within the IT hardware and software category.
- Have regular meeting with vendors / contract drafting / Vendor management.
- Drive spend rationalization and cost savings strategies for IT hardware to include desktop, mobile, server, mainframe, and infrastructure resources.
- Implement a rigorous and disciplined process for managing the supply base including leading periodic business reviews, monitoring and managing supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery, technology, service, and leadership), managing supplier relationships, performing root cause analysis and resolution, developing and monitoring supplier improvement plans.
- Responsible for Asset Management.
- Design, plan and implement WAN services and Hosting Co-location.
- Maintaining and Managing the Reports publishing for EMEA Region

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) and minimum 8 years of working experience managing software and hardware purchases.
- Experience preparing bids and requests for quotes in compliance with TCS policy.
- Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
- Ability to assess contract compliance and service quality.
- Good knowledge of licensing information
Windows / Vmware / Networking / Firewall/ SAN installation\Configuration and troubleshooting.
-Experience in network skills such as LAN\WAN Switches, Router and Firewall configuration.
- Certifications are an added advantage.
