IT Production Coordinator - MIBP

Sandvik IT Global Shared Services (GSS) is a support function with the mission of meeting the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally. This is done in an international environment, within various areas of responsibility, such as IT architecture, management systems, process development, IT security and IT support. Today, about 850 people in approximately 40 countries work in IT Global Shared Services at Sandvik. We serve the whole company with IT infrastructure, systems and business critical solutions. It just has to work.

System administrators, developers, project managers and communicators, all with different backgrounds and experience, make up our team today. The department for IT Web Portals is responsible for the Mining Internet Business Platform (commercial web platform for Content, E-Commerce and other services) that is a part of the overall ambition to deliver the next generation of business systems supporting the business objectives for Sandvik Mining. Job Summary
As an IT Production Coordinator you are responsible for leading, planning and carrying out daily operations, as well as supporting employees, in order to ensure that targets are being met for designated production areas. Prioritizing, coordinating and leading assignments are part of your daily work, as well as receiving new objects and planning for their inclusion in daily operations and the production environment. You escalate and report issues that might have impact on the production areas, as well as risks that cant be resolved in production. Implementing and sustaining best practices and the ways of working as stated in policies and guidelines are important areas for this position, as is contributing to development of methods and processes.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor´s in IT or equivalent experience. You have a few years' experience of production coordinating and you have a proven track record of handling highly skilled developers in a fast-paced environment. A few years' experience within TFS and working with Sandvik Mining demands is preferred in this role, as well as knowledge of Sandvik IT processes and experience in coordinating with SharePoint based development. You can handle Digabit Documoto services and you are experienced in the Mining Internet Business Platform eCommerce solution.
