IT professional, service delivery and developmen

On behalf of a client we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our client's European organisation as an senior IT technician to handle internal service delivery, service development and IT strategy. About our client Our client is a leading private equity investment firm. The company particularly focuses on businesses with a strong link to the Nordic and German speaking countries. They are using it s industry sector expertise, deep local presence and active owner approach to create value for its stakeholders. The company has offices in Stockholm, UK and in Germany. Job Location The role will be based in central Stockholm, Sweden. The individual in this position will be required to frequently travel to the company's offices in Europe to meet with and support team members and other company functions. Duties and responsibilities The IT technician will be woking closely with a small team, coordinating actions and development efforts in order to supply the best practice IT business support. The individual in this position will also be expected to discuss, create and drive strategic IT development for the organisation. Specific responsibilities will include . Act as the local, on-site support responsible for Stockholm. . Drive the IT solutions and services in the definition of service requirements related to business strategies and needs. . Perform analysis of business requirements and translate them into tangible IT development deliverables. . Work with technology colleagues to develop and deliver complete solutions, engaging with functional and non-functional requirements. . Represent IT in securing a reliable and acceptable delivery plan with business and technology. . Communicate frequently with team members, manage expectations, identify and resolve challenges and issues within the engineering and technology. . Be a driving force, with the rest of the team, in deployment of new IT solutions and services, through sound project management activities and methodologies, . Ensure first-rate IT service and credibility. Experiences and Requirements . Bachelor of Science in technology or equivalent degree . Documented experience from managing IT systems and services in finance industry. . Understanding of general business practices and processes . Familiar with existing technologies that are applicable for use in a finance business environment. . Strong consulting skills grounded in a solid knowledge of technology. . Solid knowledge in administration of windows server and Exchange server. Their interrelationship, operating system and client software. . Good understanding of network infrastructure, switch routers and blackberry technology. . General knowledge of and about; MS Office software, McAffee and ePo, printer and scanner configurations and administrating and configuration of Windows XP. . Experience in standardized IT processes and ITIL is a qualification. . Work in a structure way is also important.
