Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
The department Order to Delivery (O2D) IT is responsible to support Production & Logistics at Scania with IT services. We are together setting the future IT landscape to support a global production system and the cooperation within the Traton Group.
The section P&L (Production & Logistics) Platforms serves as the backbone for digitalizing Production with some of our core IT deliveries.

What challenges are we offering?
We are introducing a modern digital ecosystem throughout all our production sites. Exchanging our core legacy production and logistics systems and at the same time helping P&L to realize their business development needed.
As a project manager you will work in a big global company and be responsible to drive various types of IT deliveries. You will be a key player to make business and IT aligned and working toward common goals. You will work actively coaching the organization and driving our business critical initiatives to success at Scania.
Your profile
You have good communication skills, work in an agile way and strive to be a servant leader that empowers, motivates and develop your teams. Your mindset is to support the business functions in the very best way and you are comfortable in a role that requires cooperation, problem solving and responsibility. You create a good working climate in the projects, stimulate innovation, creativity and have an ability to lead people toward a common goal. You are flexible and have no prestige in finding the best solutions. You have a university degree in relevant area and have at least 3 years of experience working as a project manager. You can communicate well both orally and written in English and Swedish. Previous work with automation manufacturing is meriting.
What you will do
• Run complex IT projects with several stakeholders in Scania IT and the manufacturing units
• Project management, i.e. running projects with a team, budget and time plan
• Able to run and take responsibility for steering committee
• Take responsibility to create, present and explain to steering committee and to first-, second- and third-line managers
• Identify dependencies to and from other projects and create a project plan accordingly
• Able to lead people, discussions and find solutions to meet project goals and time plan
• Create and communicate project plans
• Risk management and mitigations
Qualifications
• University degree
• At least 3 years of experience as project manager or leading a complex team
• A project management methodology certification such as SAFe, Scrum, PPS
• Demonstrated project management skills, with direct responsibility or running project teams, budget and a time schedule
• Delivering projects using an agile methodology e.g. Scrum
• Running digitalization projects
• Previous work with industry automation manufacturing is meriting
• Previous work with ERP implementations is meriting
• English - Proficient in writing and speech
• Swedish - Proficient in writing and speech is meriting
