Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The Devtools group at Scania is responsible for providing suitable development tools to the software engineers in Scania for them to swiftly build and release software into the cloud, self-driving vehicles, etc. Currently, the tool portfolio comprises well-known development software such as Gitlab, Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Azure DevOps, JFrog Artifactory, and much more. We are now looking for a new IT Security Lead to join our group!
Your main responsibilities as IT Security Lead
In this role, you will play a vital part for all software engineers at Scania as you will be the main person who shares knowledge and give guidance about cyber security around developer tools, (cloud) infrastructure, and software development. You will act as a developer advocate and security evangelist to actively encourage others to understand and follow security principles and guidelines and use security frameworks and tools.
Your qualifications as IT Security Lead
• Minimum 3 years of experience within software development.
• CI/CD and automation (DevSecOps)
• infrastructure-as-code in the cloud (preferably AWS)
• Meriting: Experience from larger organizations, integration architecture, and technical Security awareness.
• Meriting: Scrum master, Product Owner, or project management experience.
The right candidate has a passion for sharing knowledge and can influence other people. This role entails good communication and presentation skills as you will be presenting technical information to our stakeholders.
