IT Selection Tools Manager


Fläkt Woods internally develops unique, market leading web-based product selection tools allowing internal sales staff, consultants and installers located across the globe to quickly and efficiently select and configure optimal product solutions that are best suited to their needs. We are now looking for an IT Selection Tools Manager that will lead the development of these programs.


As IT Selection Tools Manager you own these tools on behalf of the company and are responsible for their success. You drive the product innovation process to generate and select ideas to bring new services and features to life. You focus on the big picture and contribute to the fulfilment of corporate vision and goals. You facilitate product decisions, including which features to be developed, when they are released, and you work closely with the system development team. The role includes stakeholder management, budget responsibility and to create and communicate the product roadmap for our systems. You provide relevant training and instructions to end users. You also provide relevant KPI's, statistics and monthly reports on selection tools activities and usage. To achieve this, you work closely with the Centre of Excellence IT & Systems Manager, the system developers, Product Managers, and the R&D team.


You have extensive experience of project management along with a good understanding of marketing and business needs. Formal requirements are a University degree and excellent language skills in both Swedish and English. You have experience of working in multicultural environments and a proven track record of managing complex projects. Your strong social and communication skills along with leadership skills makes you succeed in this role. Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills and ability to balance resources, to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment are also needed.


In this role you report directly to R&D Vice President at Fläkt Woods Group in Geneva but the position is placed in Jönköping. Travelling within Europe is a natural part of the job and occasionally you visit Asia and USA.
