Java Developer

We develop and operate one of the largest retail websites in the world. We are now looking for an experienced java developer / architect who will join the maintenance and development organization for the customers website. The development is centralized to Sweden and we work with the site for all 40+ countries. The assignment is full time and based at our IT-department in Stockholm.

The Java developer we are looking for has several years of experience of working with, and maintain, web applications and eCommerce solutions, and he/she has extensive practical experience from XP and Scrum.

The Java developer will join one of our implementation teams which consist of a Scrum master, a team architect, developers, testers and a requirement analyst. Our teams are distributed with testing done in India.

SPECIFIC COMPETENCES

Must have practical hands on experience from:
? Working as a developer in large web/eCommerce systems.
? Advanced Java development and multi-threaded applications
? Spring Framework (Min 2.0)
? Web technology: Servlet, HTTP, Cookies, TCP, Frameworks.
? Integration development using WebServices (SOAP/WSDL/XSD)
? Integration development using JMS
? Build scripts using Ant and Maven.
? Middleware solutions like Coherence and Tomcat
? XP and Scrum

We also prefer if the person has experience from:
? JVMs and advanced JVM-tuning
? Interest in monitoring and APM solutions
? Analyzing the performance and metrics output of an large scale application
? Load testing
? Hybris
? Selenium
? Sonar
? EAI or SOA
? Search indexing, e.g. Endeca, SOLR, Lucene.
? Database design and development on Oracle and MySQL.
? Experience from working in distributed teams, preferably with Indian teams
? Spring Integration
